Day 5 of 24 Days of Beauty Advent Posts-Living Nature Bee Venom Mask

Day 5 is Living Nature Bee Venom sheet mask. I love a sheet mask. They are a less messy, funny, way of getting key skincare ingredients to soak in to your skin but without any scrubbing to remove, like you have to with a clay mask. If you favour natural products or your skin doesn't like synthetic sheet masks, the Bee Venom mask from Living Nature* is a lovely mask to try.

The sheet mask combines active Bee Venom with the natural botanicals of organic Manuka Honey and certified organic Coconut Oil.  A certified organic cotton fibre paper mask delivers the active ingredients to the skin, helping to plump, tighten, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and give skin a healthy, youthful glow.

Bee venom has been used for thousands of years and is known for its anti-ageing effect. Bee Venom is a complex mixture of proteins and can be used cosmetically to stimulate the skin into thinking it has been lightly stung and cause the body to encourage the production of collagen and elastin (clever hey?).  Bee Venom also aids absorption of other ingredients and allows the mask’s Manuka Honey to penetrate deeper into the skin.

I put mine on for 20 minutes and led down to listen to Magic Xmas whilst enjoying the cooling and relaxing mask. After 20 minutes, I easily peeled the mask off and washed the residue serum off and I have to say I was really surprised at how clear and bright my skin looked. Like noticeably so. It was a shame to put make up.

This would be a great stocking filler or gift for someone who either prefers natural ingredients and products or if you don't know if they have sensitive skin or not (check they don't have any bee related allergies).

One sheet mask is £8.00, or you can get a pack of 6, available here
