July 2017 Favourties

July has flashed by in a haze of non summer like weather and rained on BBQs! I only hope we can have a return to some sunshine to lift our damp spirits before the onset of Autumn. Thank god for Love Island is all I can say, because in July that seemed to be my only intake of vitamin D!

I've already talked about some of this month's favourites in previous posts, so you know I've been properly loving them because here they are again.
Rimmel Duo Contour Stick
Rimmel Duo Contour Stick
Make up - Rimmel Insta Duo Contour Stick
This cream dual ended contour and highlighter stick has surprised me no end. I really didn't think it was for me but I am loving the contour end. I just apply two swipes to below my cheek bone and blend in. I can use this instead of a bronzer to warm up my skin. It's so easy to use and blends in well. Don't press too hard or have too much of the stick up though, as I have broken a brand new one with a heavy hand. £6.99.
The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution
The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution
Skincare - The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution
I raved about this in my last post. And it really is the best mask I have ever used. It leaves my skin clearer, brighter and fresher. At £6.30 it's surely worth you trying it?
M&S Coconut & Choc Chip Mini Cookies
M&S Coconut & Choc Chip Mini Cookies
Food - M&S Coconut & Choc Chip Mini Cookies
Moorish, delicious, yummy, get them in my tummy. And you can have loads because they're mini and, therefore, you don't feel so bad! £2.00.
Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess
Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess
Misc - Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess
I have to confess I'm no perfume expert nor in fact does it excite me. There I've said it. Obviously I want to smell nice but I find with every perfume I've ever had, after the first use, I can't smell it on me.
Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess comes out every year and is the summer perfume. It is a light, sweet scent and does smell a bit like holidays. I still can't smell it on me but I still like this and maybe the days of being able to smell Poison on me from a mile off are gone?! I got this on the plane home from holiday, when things are still free and of no financial consequence!
Converse
Converse
Fashion - Converse
I've had these Lo Converse for literally 20 years and I haven't worn them because I have been more into my high top Cons and when I got these they shredded my heels. But for summer, these are perfect with not just cropped and wide leg jeans but skirts and dresses too. And it appears that like a jar of pickles, if you leave them in a darkened cupboard for 10 years, they will soften and be enjoyable to have!

  2. I love the Rimmel duo sticks, I really didn't think I would but they're great. I love bronze goddess but don't own it, every year I think about buying it and never do, Next have a very similar scent so I might smell both and see if it's similar enough and if it is I'll get that. I wear my converse so much, I need some new ones, mine have been washed 3 million times at least ;) I need to try that mask, I love The Ordinary, so this will definitely be in my basket on my next order. Great favourites lovely xxx

    1. Thanks Zoe. let me know what the name of that Next perfume is, I don't usually spend much on perfume but I bought this on the aeroplane - where things are free because you're not at home, if you get me?!
