March 2017 Favourites

March has been the month I started a new job, after four years in my previous job. And I have to say it's been one of the best moves and has to be my miscellaneous favourite of this month. I've gone from feeling quite isolated and lonely in an office on my own to being part of a small team, which is part of a bigger team. Everyone is so lovely.  Never underestimate the importance of a "what did you watch on TV last night" conversation.

Along with my new job, I've also got these favourites for March.

Make up
Stila Matte N Metal Eye Shadow Palette
Stila Matte N Metal Eye Shadow Palette
I've had my eye on one of the Stila eye shadow palettes for a while now but they are pricey. But then I received a Beauty Bay voucher from a lovely lady as a thank you when I lent her some college course notes, so I decided to get this palette and a Beauty Blender. Although this is £39, which is a lot, you get 12 highly pigmented and very wearable shades - 6 matte, 6 shimmer. The shimmers are particularly lovely. I should have done some swatches for you, and if anyone wants them, just comment below and I can update this post.
I've been using the palette every day since I got it and really like it.

Haircare
Alchemy Grapefruit Hair Remedy Oil
Alchemy Grapefruit Hair Remedy Oil
Alchemy kindly sent me the Grapefruit Hair Remedy Oil* to try out and I've been enjoying it. There are several ways to use this zesty fresh scented oil - either as a deep conditioning treatment, massaged in to roots and then left overnight. Or on damp, just washed hair, to hydrate and my favourite way - on dry hair to tame down flyaway strands and freshen up hair with the grapefruit scent.
Available from Alchemy Oils for £24.

Food
Ritz Crisp & Thin
Ritz Crisp & Thin
So I was introduced to Ritz Crisp & Thin crisps on a recent weekend away with family and friends. These are moorish, spicy, thin crispy things. They are so moorish that I have eaten far too many and whilst they have been my food fave for March, I now can't look at them. But they are nice. Too nice.
£1.99.

Fashion
Matalan Utility Jacket
Matalan Utility Jacket
I've already featured this jacket in my recent In the Changing Room at Matalan post and I've got a lot of use out of it since buying it. It's the perfect spring jacket and I can see this in my wardrobe for a long time yet. £30.00.

  1. I love ritz! We have a snack here in NZ called shapes and they came out with a thin and crispy version of their crackers and they taste amazing - can imagine that they're quite similar!
