Winter Tops and a pair of Boots Haul

I didn't actually get anything for myself in the Black Friday/Cyber Monday/Can't drive anywhere weekend but with the sudden onset of Winter, I have ordered a handful of jumpers and tops and a pair of boots that I thought you might like to see. Most of these pieces are from New Look, so I've included affiliate links if you want to see if they're still available online. There are two tops from Zara and one from Topshop as well, just to make it interesting.

New Look Leopard Print Funnel Neck Jumper**

I got this during one of the discount days, and it's now only available in petite sizes but as it's oversized anyway, don't let that put you off. It's now only £18.74. I've also seen them still in store. This funnel necked jumper is so soft and would look better with black jeans but is a real cozy jumper.

New Look Rust Funnel Neck Jumper**

This jumper was a bargain at £9.99 and they've got them in loads of other colours. It's not as thick as it looks though, so I wear mine with a vest underneath. Who am I kidding - I wear a vest under everything! A lovely autumn/winter shade to brighten up your winter wardrobe.

New Look Grey Frill Trim Funnel Neck Jumper**
I love a polo neck (why does no one call them that anymore?) and the frill neck on this jumper adds a nice detail. I bought one in black as well and these two are my current work wardrobe staples. £19.99. And they wash well and retain their shape.

New Look Black Suedette Silver Buckle Western Boot**
This style of buckle boot is everywhere at the moment, the most famous being the Chloe boot. But at £850.00, as lovely as they are, no. But good old New Look have these at £34.99. I love a flat heel, especially in boots and actually even though this heel height is perfect, because it's a fairly pointed toe (well pointed for me), it gives the boots a smarter, more dressed up look.
I still need to break these in as one is super comfortable and the other just needs more give on the top of my foot but I'm looking forward to wearing these with jeans and dresses.

Topshop Long Sleeve Ruffle Top
Sometimes it's not cold enough for a full on knit, so I like to have a few long sleeve t-shirts and this ruffle top at £18.00 is not only a great basic, but adds something more interesting with its on trend ruffles. This top keeps it shape well thanks to the stretchy cotton fabric.

Unlike this Zara top..
Zara Bell Sleeve Top
I was having a mooch about on the Zara website and came across the "special prices" section. This top was only £9.99 and is absolutely fine and I like the bell sleeve, it's just it's a bit shapeless and doesn't have the same stretchy cotton as the Topshop top.

But this, I love..
Zara Grey Marl top
Not only is this the fleeciest, snuggest thing I own (and that's saying something!), it was only £17.99. I love the fit, length and best of all the sleeves on this top. I know grey marl isn't exactly an exciting colour but I love the casual, quirkiness of this super comfortable top.

Do your worst winter!

xx

  1. I am obsessed with all things grey and my wardrobe is starting to look a little like a paint shade chart! Especially loving the grey marl Zara top and the pretty frilled neck top...Love a drill/ruffle too!
