Make Up Obsession - Xmas Gifting #1

make up obsession
Halloween and Bonfire Night have now passed and so we can legitimately really get in to Christmas shopping. Yay.
I haven't really thought through how I'm going to post my Christmas present suggestions/ideas so I thought as ideas come to me, I'll post them and number them as "Xmas Gifting posts". I'll be doing a right old mixed bag of posts - collective ideas, one off gifts, beauty, fashion etc which I hope will give you some ideas and get you into the spirit of things.

Make Up Obsession is a new brand to Boots and I came across it in my local Boots Beauty Emporium, which has been rolled out to quite a lot of stores - a collection of key brand items for you to pick up and you can also get items engraved, for an additional fee. Nice touch for Christmas.

So the concept with Make Up Obsession is a really affordable palette system. And this is how it works:

1. You choose your palette case. They come in a variety of colours and two sizes, which hold either 6 or 12 singles.
2. Then you pick what you want to fill your palette. There are eye shadows, blushers, contours and highlighters and all in a great range of shades.

The Palettes start at £6.00 and the make up singles start at £2.00. The make up singles even come in their own case so you can try without committing to a whole palette.

Here's what I got:

Gold 6 singles palette £6.00

The make up singles click easily in to and out of the slots in the palette.

I went for three eye shadows in usable shades which I can wear everyday but my next palette will be full of more "out there" exciting colours.
Two blush colours and a lovely highlighter. All of these were either £2.00 or £3.00.

This palette system would be a lovely gift/stocking filler for anyone, from your teens to your friend and your Mum (hint hint!).

Well done Boots. You can shop Make Up Obsession online here. **

    1. I bet you've got some lovely brands the UK don't have. It's such a shame/pain that shipping worldwide is so expensive and takes ages!
