Dr PawPaw - a multi tasker for your pocket

Dr Pawpaw
I was so pleased to meet the lovely ladies from Dr Pawpaw at the recent Big Blogger Expo because I had seen quite a few Instagram posts on Dr Pawpaw but hadn't yet got my hands on some. So I was really chuffed when I was given a goodie bag with not just the original multipurpose soothing balm but also the two tinted versions - in peach and red*.

Ingredients and Benefits
Dr Pawpaw is made in the UK and contains:

  • Papaya (pawpaw) a nutrient rich fruit full of antioxidants, minerals and vitamins B and C - Pawpaw is an anti-inflammatory and helps skin repair and add moisture.
  • Olive fruit oil contains vitamin E and anti-ageing antioxidants - helps repair damaged skin and provides high amounts of hydration and nutrition.
  • Aloe Vera contains Vitamin A, C and E - all of these moisturise the skin and soothe and heal with their anti-inflammatory properties.
I love to use the original on my cuticles and nails, as well as my lips. Other uses are:
  • soothe dry and cracked skin (heels and elbows)
  • ease minor skin abrasions
  • ease insect bites
  • to calm nappy rash
  • protect and prevent split ends
  • smooth fly away hair and untidy eyebrows
  • as a highlighter on your brow bone and tops of your cheeks

The tinted versions can also be used on lips and cheeks. I'm not so keen on the peach tint, which just doesn't suit my skin tone but I really like the red tint to add a bit of colour to my lips.

As well as being packed full of natural ingredients, Dr Pawpaw balms are not tested on animals, and are alcohol and paraben free. So this handy tube is your go to/do it all and is great for you and the kids. It's a cosmetic helping hand as well as one for your handbag first aid kit. A true multipurpose balm.

A single balm tube is £6.95 or why not get all three for £20.85. You can order online here at Dr Pawpaw.

  1. They sound so good and I love the tinted ones xx

    1. The red tinted one is nice, gives just a hint of colour to lips.xx

  2. I love that they are tinted! I use a different brand of paw paw that you can get in NZ and it's more like vaseline as it's not tinted.

    1. The original one isn't tinted, so that's the one I'm using for cuticles, heels etc. It's like vaseline but not as greasy.

  3. Interesting, not heard of these :-)
