Superdrug 3 for 2

superdrug 3 for 2
You've got to love a Superdrug 3 for 2 offer. There's a 3 for 2 promotion on at the moment, but be quick it ends on the 26 July.

Following on from my recent Blush Collection post, which started with me saying I was going to tell you about the Max Factor Creme Puff Blush.. but then I dropped it. So this prompted me to put in an online order to Superdrug, which was so convenient. I made my order on my phone app, a few days later the delivery came, and it was free delivery. Easy as. Here's what I got, and spoiler alert I was after I bit of glow!

Max Factor Creme Puff Blush
Shade 10 Nude Mauve, £8.99. I picked up a different shade this time and at first I thought I'd messed up and this was too light for me. But actually I really like it. This shade is for the days when you don't want to go overboard on your blush and I also use it lightly for powdering all over - much in the same way I do with the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder. They both give a glowy, brighter look.

The texture of the creme puff blush is buttery smooth, lovely to apply and not overly pigmented, which I always prefer in a blush. Less is more. "Build it and they will come" kind of thing!

Make up Revolution Radiant Light
Shade Glow, £3.00. I previously talked about the Radiant Light palette here. And have been meaning to get one of the single powders for easier storage in my over flowing bathroom cabinet but every single frickin time I go in to any Superdrug, there's just an empty space where they're meant to be. I don't know why I never thought to look online, so often things that are never in store are available online.

I picked up my favourite shade from the palette - Glow. This is beautiful for powdering under the eyes/tops of your cheeks. It gives a.. glow (hence the name) and I call it my wake me up powder because it gives a fresh highlight to my under eyes that no other powder or product has been able to. And at £3.00 it is a top bargain, quality powder. I'm sorry but for me this powder is better than the much coveted, cult status Hourglass Ambient Lighting powder!

Barry M Strobe Cream
Shade 2 iced bronze, £4.49. I had given up trying to find this new strobing cream from Barry M. Everywhere - in store and online was sold out, as a result of the hype and rave reviews when this first came out.
There are 2 shades, the other is Frosty Pink. I picked up iced bronze as I felt it would suit my skin tone better and I really like this. The cream stick is so soft and glides on effortlessly. Once blended out with your fingers, it gives a subtle highlight that can be built up for more boom.
I love cream highlighters for a more natural fresh faced glow and you can work with them a lot easier than powders.

With these three beauties, never again should I have a dull face!

    1. Thanks Kathy. I love Barry M. I always buy their nail polishes and trying the strobe cream has made me want to try more of their make up.
