The Glamour Summer Edit Beauty Box

Glamour summer edit box
I recently posted about the limited edition M&S Summer Beauty Box, which has now sold out.  So for those of you who missed out on this great value beauty box, I've got another gem for you - the Glamour Summer Edit beauty box. This box is packed full of summer essentials and gives you the chance to try out an array of high end products for the amazing price of only £20.00. You can order yours now at Latest in Beauty.

For only £20.00 you get £104 worth of product. A no brainer surely. So I wanted to get this post up asap and let you know exactly what's in the box and what I think of the items, where I have had time this week to give them try.

Aurelia miracle cleanser
Aurelia Miracle Cleanser and Bamboo Muslin Cloth
Great weekend away size. This cleanser is deliciously creamy and great used as your second cleanse, although it does remove all make up so you can use it as it is. The full size of this is normally £38.00.
grounded coffee scrub
Grounded Chocolate Orange Body Scrub
This is my first time using a coffee body scrub, and I really liked it. The tiny coffee particles are very efficient at exfoliating and leaving skin silky smooth and soft. Be warned though, this is very messy! It does say on the packet that you can use the scrub in the bath. I beg of you do not do this, you'll be finding coffee bits for months after. I applied the scrub by getting in the shower, wetting my skin, turning the shower off, rubbing the scrub all over, and then washing it off. It still got all over the tiles.
Ladival sun spray
Ladival Sun Protection Spray SPF30
I did get a Ladival spray in June's Glossybox. And I was still happy to get another because that's my sunscreen sorted for my summer holiday. I'm excited to try this out as Ladival offers protection against not just UVA and UVB but infrared rays as well.
Nuxe Prodigieux shower oil
Nuxe Prodigieux Shower Oil
This shower oil smells devine. I haven't used it yet because I'm waiting for summer in the UK to actually start. The content card that comes with the beauty box says that this is a great post tanning shower oil, so could be used after..
St Tropez self tan classic bronzing mist
St Tropez Self Tan Classic Bronzing Mist
I've only had a quick mist of this, as again I'm waiting for the sun to make an appearance so I can delve in to my summer wardrobe. Then I'll apply this easy to use tanning mist (whilst stood in the shower to avoid mess) to get an instant tan.
Wow facial mask
Wow Luxury Facial Mask
I love a sheet mask and I'm going to put this on after I finish typing this post, and while I'm watching Love Island. The mask is packed with collagen to give you plump, firm and radiant skin. This mask is normally £14.00.
Oribe dry texturising spray
Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray
Ok, this hair texturizing spray was the reason I bought this beauty box. You get a handy handbag 75ml size. The full size 300ml is £39.00. For a hair spray. But I have seen famous You Tubers rave about this and say it is so good, the price is justified. I've only used this a few times because I want to save it for special. And I want to wait until I get my hair cut a bit shorter and use it when I can really texturise with it. But I can tell you that it smells expensive and fresh, the smell stays in your hair for ages. The spray doesn't leave a sticky residue. I can't really describe what it does. I suppose it texturises like a sea salt spray but without the dry, stiff feel, if that makes sense. I like it.

The last thing in the box was the Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolour in the shade Devotion.
Bit of a fail on my part as I gave this to the daughter before I had chance to photograph and swatch it. And now it is somewhere in her bedroom. For fellow mothers of teenage daughters out there, or teens themselves, you'll understand when I say I can't find it in her bedroom now! But suffice to say, she said it's a perfect nude shade, lasted all day and although it's a matt, wasn't drying in anyway. Shame she can't find it now really!

I would say I won't post another beauty box review for a while as I've had a run of these but if they keep bringing out such great value boxes.. what's a girl to do!

xx
