Primark Scented Candles

I don't know about you but I'm well and truly in hibernation phase.  And so I wanted to talk about scented candles.  At this time of the year, we want to be at home, we want to be cosy and want our homes to smell like we haven't been sat indoors all weekend watching box sets!

I know there are lots of scented candles out there and for varying budgets.  I aspire to own either (or both) a Diptyque or Jo Malone candle but I just cannot justify spending £40 on something I'm going to take a match to!  I had previously given up with cheap scented candles, as I found they smelt great until you light them, and then there was no or very little smell.  That's until I tried Primark candles. These candles are ridiculously affordable, come in a variety of scents and in really attractive containers.  The burn time on these are really good and the aroma is not at all overpowering but enough to drift through your home.  Below are just a few from the current range.

Champagne candle in copper dimple effect pot £3.00

Bamboo & Jasmine candle in matt black jam jar £3.00. 40 hours burn time.

Bamboo & Jasmine candle in matt black and copper bottom pot £3.00. 35 hours burn time.

Nectarine & Lemon Blossom candle in glass pot £2.00. 30 hours burn time.

Vanilla candle in glass mason style jar £4.00. 35  hours burn time.

Have you tried the Primark candles or have you got any other affordable favourites?

  1. They look great! Thanks for the tip.

  2. Fab pics. Loving the jam jar styles.

    1. Thank you so much. I'm going to try and clean out the jam jar when its finished and use it for brushes. :-)
