Nip & Fab Frown Fix

I was going to name my blog "Frown Lines" because I have a big one in the middle of my eyebrows and my posts are a review of my ongoing attempts to find make up and skincare which will either cure, disguise or distract from it.  But I felt that "frown lines" was just too negative.  And "laughter lines" was taken!

I know I could probably save myself the search and get a bit of Botox but you know what, that would be too easy, I enjoy the search.  It's all about the chase!

Nip & Fab is a skincare range which has only hit my radar in the last 6 months and to be honest I was a bit put off by the scary names such as 'Viper Venom Micro Blur' and 'Dragon's Blood Plumping Serum' but I've starting to read more good reviews and endorsements on the range, so when I came across the Frown Fix on offer in Superdrug, that was my in.

Frown fix comes in a pen applicator.  So on first use you need to twist the base several times until some of the cream comes in to the brush.  You then brush the cream on to your lines, whether they are in the middle of your eyebrows, around your eyes or mouth. Apply on to clean, make up free skin and it's best to apply before your moisturiser and you can do this morning and night.

The blurb says:

Frown fix has been specifically designed to target the appearance of wrinkles with active ingredients and contains:

amino acids:  which smooth and minimise the look of expression lines
purslane extract: hydrates and tightens
centella: fine lines appear reduced

A concentrated formula that instantly plumps and smoothes the appearance of expression lines, fine lines and wrinkles.

I do like the pen applicator, which makes applying the cream very precise and not at all messy.  As I've only just started using this, I'll report back in a few weeks and if it's any good, I might be brave enough to try some Dragon's Blood.
